Job description
Tasks
- You work on long-lasting, safety-critical systems with high reliability, traceability, and software quality
- You analyze demanding requirements and develop innovative embedded solutions in C/C++
- You design software and system architectures and accompany solutions from specification through implementation to integration and verification
- You ensure software quality through code reviews, unit and integration tests, as well as traceable technical documentation
- You help with the further development of modern development, build, test, and CI/CD environments
- You work closely with our customers and expert teams, depending on the project at our locations or directly at the customer's site
Qualifications
- University degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a comparable technical field
- Several years of experience in the development of application and embedded software with C/C++
- In-depth knowledge of software engineering methods such as UML, Design Patterns, and Clean Code, as well as Git
- Experience with unit and integration tests; knowledge of Python and automated build, test, or CI/CD environments are advantageous
- Enjoyment of technical responsibility and co-design of complex systems
- Advantageous: Knowledge of Secure Coding, Cyber Security for Embedded Systems, QT/QML, Embedded Linux, Yocto, and RTOS, as well as Functional Safety according to IEC 61508
- Very good German and English skills
