Job description
The Challenge
Our client develops high-tech embedded systems that must be extremely reliable, safe, and performant. You will work in an environment where innovation is the standard and where your code directly influences hardware, sensors, controllers, and real-time processing. We are looking for engineers who enjoy delving deep: from low-level drivers to robust architecture, and from integration to performance optimization.
What will you do?
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will work through GradeMatch within a multidisciplinary engineering team that combines software, electronics, and system architecture. You will develop embedded software in C and C++, analyze hardware interaction, work with RTOS environments, and contribute to new and existing modules. You will deal with complex systems, new product features, protocols, edge computing, test scenarios, and integration with high-end equipment.
How you make an impact
You will implement embedded software modules in C and C++ according to high quality standards and work on drivers, interfaces, communication flows, and configuration components. You will formulate clear requirements and actively contribute to design choices, while working with other engineers to develop high-level and low-level architecture proposals. Additionally, you will test and review code for reliability, performance, and stability, and collaborate closely with hardware engineers to ensure correct integration. You will oversee the go-live, validation, and aftercare within the embedded environment, and meticulously document code, flows, architecture, and test results.
