Embedded Software Developer (m/w/x) for High Power Area

To strengthen our expert team at our customer from the radio and communication industry, we're looking for an Embedded Software Developer (m/w/x) for the High Power area in permanent employment at K-tronik. We're looking forward to getting to know you personally - and working together with passion and teamwork on exciting projects and future-oriented technologies.

Tasks:

  • Collaboration on the development of plasma generators for the semiconductor industry - Development and implementation of hardware-near software for microcontroller systems, using modern C++ standards - Control and integration of peripherals such as GPIO, UART, SPI, I²C, ADC, PWM or CAN - Commissioning new hardware and conducting board bring-up tests - Analysis of circuit diagrams and data sheets for software integration - Debugging and error detection with oscilloscope, JTAG/SWD debugger - Optimization of runtime, memory usage, and energy efficiency - Implementation of real-time requirements, e.g., using RTOS or Zephyr - Conducting tests, verification, and documentation of firmware - Collaboration with hardware development, electronics design, and system architecture

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or a comparable field or training - In-depth knowledge of modern, object-oriented C++ in the Linux environment using Git as version control• Experienced in the use of C++ unit test frameworks and debugging tools - Familiarity with tools like Gitlab CI, Docker, and Robot-Framework is a plus - Secure use of communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, Ethernet) - Experience with bus systems and real-time operating systems - Independent, goal-oriented work style combined with high teamwork and open communication skills - Interest in shaping technical solutions and implementing innovative products - Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking
