Embedded Software Architect (56372)

For our client, we are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Architect. In this demanding role, you will take responsibility for the architecture and strategic further development of an embedded software platform. You will evaluate new technologies, define sustainable technology standards, and ensure high software quality through architecture governance, development guidelines, and modern test and automation concepts. Furthermore, you will coordinate architectural requirements with customers, management, and development teams, document technical decisions, and support distributed development teams in the implementation of common architectural principles.

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in the development of embedded software
• In-depth experience in the design of complex software architectures
• Very good knowledge of modern software engineering methods
• Experience with architecture governance, development guidelines, and test and automation concepts
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Experience in technical leadership or coaching of development teams
• Very good communication and moderation skills
• Very good German and English skills

Advantageous are:

• Experience with Zephyr RTOS
• Experience with scalable and modular embedded software platforms
• Experience with internationally or cross-location distributed development teams
