Title: Embedded Linux Graphics Software Engineer for a premium automotive company (m/f/d) Description: Develop and integrate the graphics subsystem for the MBUX infotainment system Work on backend UI technologies including Wayland compositor and Qt stack Extend and integrate Unity as a next-generation UI toolkit Make architectural decisions for system-wide UI components Ensure high performance and quality of graphics software Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for planning and testing Support the Product Owner in backlog prioritization and development planning Take ownership of developed software components Contribute to developer-friendly tools and frameworks Maintain and improve system integration of graphics engines Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Proven experience in distributed software development teams Strong background in Linux graphics stack (Wayland, OpenGL, Vulkan, EGL, KWin) Deep knowledge of C++ Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine at system integration level Familiarity with agile development and tools like Jira and Confluence Experience with Yocto and Linux system plumbing Proficiency in Qt and QML Knowledge of Android graphics stack Contributions to open-source projects Attractive salary 30 days of vacation per year Flexible working hours and hybrid working Hays helps you gain a foothold in innovative companies Our many years of recruitment experience and our expert knowledge of the engineering job market make us a strong partner for engineers and technicians.
