Scope of tasks Designing, developing, and maintaining firmware for ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers Creating and optimizing software in C/C++ Designing and implementing Low Power solutions Developing and maintaining a build system using Make/CMake Implementing and developing wireless communication, including M-Bus and LoRaWAN Analyzing and solving problems at the Hardware/Firmware interface Leading the debugging and diagnostics process for software and devices Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated and manual tests Ensuring code quality, solution stability, and reliability Collaborating with Hardware, Software, QA, and Product teams Supporting architectural and technical decision-making Coordinating technical work and supporting less experienced team members Identifying technical risks and proposing optimal solutions Requirements Minimum 10 years of experience in Embedded/Firmware Very good knowledge of C/C++ Practical experience with ARM Cortex-M Experience in designing Low Power systems Knowledge of Make/CMake Experience with M-Bus and/or LoRaWAN Ability to debug Hardware/Firmware Experience in Testing & Quality Assurance Experience in a Senior Firmware Developer, Tech Lead, Firmware Lead, or similar role Autonomy, responsibility, and the ability to make technical decisions Good communication and collaboration skills in an international environment ⭐ Experience in Diehl Controls or in projects with a similar technological profile will be an additional advantage.
