Embedded Developer Location: vicinity of Krakow Work model: hybrid (2 days in the office) Cooperation form: UoP or B2B About the position We are looking for an Embedded Developer for our client's team, who will participate in the development of modern embedded systems used, among others, in fire protection solutions, emergency lighting systems, and communication and measurement devices. This is a great opportunity for people with initial experience in embedded programming and who want to develop their competencies in working with ARM microcontrollers and real-time systems. What you will be doing: Creating and developing software for embedded systems, including: fire and emergency lighting system control panels, communication modules (RS485, PLC, radio modules, addressable modules), input/output modules, power supplies and battery chargers, fire detectors, acoustic and voice sirens, testers, and measurement cards. Developing solutions based on RTOS, graphical interfaces, and network communication. Testing software, debugging, and preparing test environments. Creating technical documentation regarding software and communication protocols used. Collaborating with the project team in the implementation of new functionalities. You will achieve success in this role if: You have initial experience in programming embedded systems and want to develop in the Embedded area. You are fluent in C. You have had the opportunity to work with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers (STM32). You know or want to develop your knowledge of real-time systems, such as FreeRTOS. You can analyze problems and effectively debug created solutions. You have used version control systems such as Git or SVN. You enjoy combining the world of software with hardware and are interested in embedded technologies. You can work in a team and are happy to share knowledge. You have no problem using English-language technical documentation. An additional asset will be: Professional experience in a similar position. Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Knowledge of C# or Python. Programming applications for Windows or Linux systems. Knowledge of TCP/IP, BACnet, Modbus protocols. Experience working with wireless communication (e.g., Bluetooth). Knowledge of Continuous Integration concepts (Jenkins). Experience with other microcontroller families (e.g., AVR). Knowledge of electronics. Knowledge of Altium Designer. Ability to work with measuring instruments (oscilloscope, multimeter).
