Your Tasks

• Development of a high-scalability Distributed System for integrating real-time measurement data, forecasts, and network calculations

• Implementation of a Microservice Architecture using Elixir/Erlang OTP as the main technology

• Application of modern development practices such as Domain Driven Design (DDD), Event Sourcing/CQRS, and hexagonal architecture

• Realization of event streaming with Kafka for real-time data processing and system-wide integration

• Setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines with Kubernetes infrastructure for automated container orchestration

• Conducting ongoing architectural guidance on solution and enterprise levels for a future-proof system landscape

• Active participation in an agile, cross-functional team according to the Scrum method

• Integration of CGMES/CIM standards to ensure interoperable network models

Must-Have Requirements

• Long-term experience in software development with Elixir and Erlang/OTP at a senior level

• Very good German language skills in writing and speaking (Must-have)

• In-depth knowledge of CGMES/CIM standards, as well as SPARQL and RDF

• Practical experience with Event Sourcing, CQRS, and hexagonal software architectures

• Safe handling of cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Experience with message brokers and streaming platforms like Kafka, MQTT, and AMQP

• Knowledge in working with graph databases (neo4j, GraphDB) and time series databases (InfluxDB)

• In-depth knowledge of Domain Driven Design (DDD)

• Safe handling of agile development practices like Scrum, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Pair Programming, and Git Flow

Desirable Requirements

• Experience in the areas of IoT and DevOps processes

• Knowledge in the area of digitalization of network processes or in the context of the energy transition

Further Information

The activity will be carried out mainly remotely, with approximately every three months a on-site presence in Stuttgart for about 1-2 days being required.
