Gas Detection Technician
Job description
You will make a significant contribution to a safe environment at our customers. That's what you'll do as a Gas Detection Technician and why you're being trained. Your work area is primarily with our customers in the Middle and South Holland region. Curious about what makes this job even more interesting? Then read on.
What will you do?
Installation work, performing maintenance, calibrating, and troubleshooting. A glimpse of the tasks you'll be busy with as a Gas Detection Technician. Your workplace varies from a parking garage to large players in the industry. This makes your working environment different every day.
Also, the duration of projects differs. So, one day you may have multiple customers on the schedule and work for another assignment at one location for several days. The planner schedules your appointments via the planning system. In it, you'll see where you need to be and which tasks can be performed. Is a task completed? Then process the administration and go to the next assignment.
Stationary gas detection is a specialized field. That's why we're training you for this. You'll follow certified training programs and initially always go on site with a colleague-monteur. This colleague will teach you the fine points of the trade. When you've mastered everything, you'll work independently. Your base location is Tiel, where you'll have the opportunity to travel to various assignments from home.
The team
You're part of the Hobrand service & maintenance team gas detection. Together with Belgian colleagues, this team consists of 6 technicians. One for one hardworking colleagues who are always ready to help each other and on whom you can rely.

- a mbo-level 3 electrical engineering or electrical work experience;
- better yet, at least 2 years of work experience;
- you possess a B- driving license.
