Tasks

Job Description

We are looking for an electrical engineer to develop, test, and iteratively improve the electronics of our medical wearable system.

You will work closely with firmware, software, and mechanics and develop electronic solutions as part of a reliable overall system in the regulated MedTech environment. You will ensure technical quality, high reliability, good testability, and a production-ready implementation.

As your responsibility grows, so will your task scope and your influence on our products. Your contribution ensures that our products are safe, reliable, and usable in everyday life for people who rely on them.

Your Tasks

- Design and development of PCBs for battery-powered wearable systems, from schematic design to layout, commissioning, and validation

- Participation in hardware revisions with a focus on analyses, tests, and optimizations of the hardware, including measurements, test plans, technical documentation, and safe handling of common laboratory equipment

- Support in DFM/DFT and the development of production tests for reliable production and testing of the hardware

Qualification

What you bring

- Fundamental knowledge of analog and digital electronics and practical experience in debugging with common laboratory equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, power measurements)

- Experience in designing and validating PCBs with a focus on signal integrity, power management, and EMV-compliant layout, ideally with Altium

- Experience with battery-powered systems with integrated communication or sensorics (e.g. power budgeting, regulators, measurement systems)

- Experience in development up to series production and a good understanding of requirements from production and production tests

Optional

- Experience in signal processing

- Familiarity with development processes for medical devices (e.g. traceability, structured verification documentation, safety-oriented design)

- Experience with optimizing bill of materials (BOM) or handling risks in the component lifecycle
