Electronics Technician for Control Cabinet Construction with PLC Development (m/f/d)

Job Description

PolyTALENT is filling a position in direct placement with a growing medium-sized company in Westerheim in control cabinet construction, electrical assembly, and automation technology. We are looking for a hands-on professional with a meticulous work ethic who not only wires but also wants to develop professionally in the direction of EPLAN, PLC, commissioning, or project work.

Tasks

• Construction and wiring of control cabinets according to circuit diagrams, electrical schematics, and bills of materials.
• Testing of control systems through functional, safety, and quality checks.
• Assembly at regional customers, e.g., cable pulling, cable laying, tray construction, and installation work.
• Support with the commissioning of electrical plants and systems on-site.
• Work on MSR technology, pump systems, frequency converters, and electrical measuring instruments.
• Participation in PLC controls, Siemens controls, remote control technology, and automation solutions.
• Prospectively, taking on additional tasks in EPLAN, project planning, TIA Portal, or technical service.

Profile

• Completed apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering (m/f/d), Electrician (m/f/d), Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology (m/f/d), Electrical Assembler (m/f/d), Control Cabinet Builder (m/f/d), or equivalent.
• Practical experience in control cabinet construction, control cabinet wiring, control engineering, or electrical assembly.
• Proficient in reading electrical schematics; knowledge of PLC, Siemens, MSR, or automation is welcome.
• Clean, structured, and reliable work ethic, as well as good technical understanding.
• Interest in professional development towards automation technology, commissioning, or project work.
