Overview
We are looking for an experienced electrician to install, wire, and maintain the electrical wiring and control systems of our autonomous robot systems. In this role, you will work closely with our Mechanical and Hardware teams to ensure that all electrical components function reliably and are seamlessly integrated into the overall systems.
Your tasks
Electrical Design and Planning:
Electrical design in accordance with applicable guidelines and standards.
Creation of circuit diagrams for our robot systems.
Installation and Wiring:
Wiring and installation of electrical components and control systems in our robot systems.
Assembly of control cabinets, connectors, and sensors according to technical drawings and circuit diagrams.
Laying and connecting cables in compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.
Testing, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting:
Testing and commissioning of electrical systems before delivery and installation at the customer's site.
Diagnosis and resolution of electrical faults during development, manufacturing, and ongoing operation.
Performance of regular maintenance and safety checks on existing systems.
Collaboration:
Close coordination with the Mechanical and Software teams for the integration of electronic components into the physical structure of the robots.
Support with on-site installations and commissioning at the customer's location.
Willingness to travel ~50%
Qualifications & Requirements
Completed training as an electrician, electronics technician for operational technology, mechatronics technician, or a comparable qualification.
Confident handling of circuit diagrams and knowledge of wiring, cabling, and connection technology.
Experience with measuring and testing equipment (e.g., multimeter, oscilloscope).
Knowledge of relevant electrical safety standards and regulations.
Experience in robotics, automation technology, or mechanical engineering is an advantage.
Independent, meticulous way of working, as well as teamwork skills.
