Electrician / PV Commissioning Technician (m/f/d)

Job Description

PolyTALENT is filling several positions for a growing company in the renewable energy sector as PV Commissioning Technicians (m/f/d) in the Rhein-Neckar district. We are looking for skilled professionals to connect, test, and safely commission the AC side of photovoltaic systems, battery storage systems, and wallboxes.

This position is suitable for trained Electricians for Energy and Building Technology (m/f/d), Electricians (m/f/d), Electrical Installers (m/f/d), or related electrical specialists who want to transition into or further develop their careers in solar technology, PV, and charging infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• AC-side installation of photovoltaic systems in private and commercial environments
• Connection and commissioning of inverters, battery storage systems, and wallboxes
• Modification, expansion, and new installation of meter cabinets and sub-distributors
• Execution of measurement, functional, and safety tests according to current regulations
• Parametrization and setup of digital components via laptop, app, or smartphone
• Systematic fault diagnosis for malfunctions and technical documentation
• Coordination with project management, network operators, and customers on-site

Profile

• Completed vocational training as an Electrician for Energy and Building Technology (m/f/d), Electrician (m/f/d), Electrical Installer (m/f/d), or equivalent
• Journeyman's certificate is required
• Career starters from the electrical trade are also welcome
• Experience with photovoltaics, solar systems, storage, or wallboxes is an advantage, but not a must
• Knowledge of meter cabinets, VDE, TAB, or the environment of utility companies / network operators is desirable
• Confident use of digital devices and good technical IT affinity
• Independent, neat, and responsible way of working
• Very good German language skills for documentation and customer coordination
• Driver's license class B for assignments within daily commuting range
