Job description
What it's about
Dietary supplements are almost always produced in large batches today. We are taking a different approach: We are building a highly automated manufacturing process that produces each product individually, starting from a quantity of one. We develop the crucial machines for this ourselves, from the initial concept to operational readiness.
You'll bring them to life: from the first wired control cabinet to the machine that produces reliably. And this is done here in our workshop, not on assembly sites anywhere in the world. You'll be home in the evenings.
About Us
Personalized Nutrition Systems GmbH operates suppify, a platform through which companies can develop and launch their own brands for dietary supplements in a short time. Software and production technology come from a single source with us. We are a growing technology company based in Bornheim, supported by the European Union and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, among others.
Your Tasks
You will build, test, and commission control cabinets.
You will bring servo drives, sensors, and actuators on new machines to life.
You will load control programs that our AI writes, test them on the actual machine, and identify any discrepancies.
You will systematically search for and resolve electrical and mechanical faults.
You will test safety functions such as emergency stop and safety gates.
You will conduct test runs, evaluate the results, and provide feedback to the design department.
You will guide our working students in electrical work and assembly.
AI will support you at every workstation with wiring diagrams, troubleshooting, and documentation.
Your Profile
You have completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Automation Technology, Mechatronics Technician, or Industrial Electrician (m/f/d) and ideally further training as a Technician or Master Craftsman, or you have studied Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automation Technology (Engineer).
You have experience wiring control cabinets and commissioning machines or systems yourself.
You are familiar with PLCs to the extent that you can read programs and test them on the machine, regardless of whether it's Siemens, Beckhoff, or CODESYS; you do not need to program them yourself.
You are familiar with drive technology and sensor technology.
Ideally, you are a qualified electrician.
You are familiar with machine safety technology and EN 60204-1.
Experience in food, pharmaceutical, or packaging technology is a plus.
You enjoy hands-on work and are able to work independently and in a structured manner.
You are eager to work with AI; no prior experience is required.
You speak German fluently; English for data sheets is sufficient.
What We Offer You
Permanent full-time employment with no fixed term.
Machines that we develop from scratch ourselves, and real responsibility from day one.
No assembly travel: You will work at our location and be home in the evenings.
A new workshop with an electronics workstation that you can help shape.
30 days of vacation and flexible working hours.
Structured onboarding.
Structured onboarding and short decision-making paths.
Very good public transport connection via regional train (Bornheim-Roisdorf station).
