Electrical Design Engineer / Electrical Technician (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Creation of circuit diagrams in EPLAN P8 (control cabinet layout, wiring diagrams, terminal diagrams, and bills of materials)
• Design and dimensioning of electrical components (contactors, motor protection switches, fuses, cable cross-sections, etc.)
• Creation of control cabinet layouts and device arrangements
• Maintenance and further development of typicals/macros and article databases in EPLAN
• Coordination of external control cabinet construction
• Implementation of system concepts into electrical engineering documentation, often in close coordination with mechanical design
• Creation of bills of materials for procurement/purchasing
• Consideration of customer-specific requirements and standards
• Technical coordination with suppliers and internal programming
• Supervision and acceptance of electrical installations in our own production as well as with/at suppliers, including protocols
• Close collaboration with internal manufacturing
• Creation and maintenance of electronic system documentation including test protocols

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training (e.g., Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, Industrial Electrician, or equivalent), ideally with further training as a Technician or Master Craftsman
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or equivalent
• Min. 2 years of professional experience
• Knowledge of EPLAN and relevant standards (e.g., EN 60204-1, VDE, etc.)
• Understanding of control cabinet construction and terminal diagrams is desired
• ATEX knowledge would be advantageous
• Structured and independent way of working
• Teamwork and interface skills Good German and English language skills
• Work permit for Germany
