Electrical Engineer / Automation Technician / Electrical Engineer / Mechatronics - Development of Ride Systems for Leisure Parks (Full-time) (m/w/d)

aufwind RIDES develops and builds ride systems and immersive attractions for leisure parks. This involves complete systems: drives, sensorics, control, safety, networks, and the clean integration into the overall experience.

A experienced person is sought who is responsible for the electrical/automation engineering development as a whole and supports commissioning on-site hands-on.

Tasks

• Development and design of the electrical and automation engineering system for ride systems and attractions
• Architecture, specification, and integration of systems: servo drives, sensorics/actuators, safety, IO, networks, energy supply
• Control software in CODESYS
• Integration of autonomous technologies
• Commissioning, functional tests, fault detection, and optimization on-site
• Documented and handover/support

Qualification

• Vocational training/technician/study in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology, or mechatronics
• Experience in development/planning and commissioning in mechanical or plant engineering
• Good knowledge of CODESYS (program structure, commissioning, diagnosis)
• Practical experience with servo drive technology
• Experience with autonomous technologies or comparable automation/assistance concepts
• Safe handling of technical documents and circuit diagrams
• Structured working style, sense of responsibility, team ability
• Travel readiness for commissioning/project phases (project-dependent)
• Bonus: Leisure park enthusiast with understanding of what operational safety and a good ride experience mean 🎢
