Our industrial partner, a local food industry located in Terrebonne, is currently looking for an Electromechanician to join their team.

Sunder the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the electromechanician is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical installations in the factory. He ensures the restoration of electrical or mechanical equipment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure the proper functioning of auxiliaries: boilers, water towers, heat exchangers, etc.
- Check the condition of electrical rooms;
- Maintain preventive maintenance on equipment;
- Participate in continuous improvement projects;
- Ensure all maintenance, repair, and renovation work on equipment;
- Monitor and perform necessary interventions regarding water circuits and their treatments;
- Restore equipment to its original state;
- Calibrate instruments for reading procedures, level sensors, pressure, flow rate, and temperature;
- Intervention for repairing piping.
- Hold a DEP in electromechanical systems or an appropriate discipline;
- Minimum one year of experience as an electromechanician in a manufacturing plant;
- Experience in the food processing industry, biological treatment, or water treatment (if possible);
- TIG sanitary welding (an asset);
- French mandatory and functional English.
- Temporary position of 2 to 3 months with possibility of extension;
- 12-hour shift, from 8am to 8pm (36 hours or 48 hours per week);
- Schedule: Sunday-Thursday-Friday or Monday-Tuesday-Saturday;
- Rotating schedule over 6 weeks (4 weeks of day and 2 weeks of night);
- Salary offer: $32.47/hour + $1.55/hour when working at night.
- Able to work under pressure and respond to demands within relatively short deadlines;
- Good organizational sense.
