Responsibilities:

·         monitors the operation of machines and equipment daily in order to identify malfunctions;

·         performs current maintenance work according to the specific prescriptions for each piece of equipment;

·         diagnoses, through functional tests and measurements with measuring devices, the concordance between operating parameters and functional requirements;

·         remedies adjustment deficiencies, eliminates sources of noise, vibration, dust, harmful gases, etc.

·         adjusts mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic mechanisms to comply with specified functional parameters;

·         identifies the defective equipment by noise, vibration, and changes in operating parameters;

·         determines the causes of the malfunction based on its type, the conditions of occurrence, and existing maintenance-repair records; reports the identified malfunctions, the causes that generated them, and proposes remediation measures;

·         when necessary, performs repair work;

·         safely isolates the equipment from the rest of the installation and moves it from its position so as not to affect the technological process;

·         identifies and analyzes the nature of the malfunction and the causes that generated it;

·         identifies and uses appropriate tools and implements for performing, repairing, and replacing defective parts;

·         adjusts, grinds, and remedies assembly surfaces to achieve the required dimensions.

·         performs boring, drilling, cutting, and sawing operations to obtain the part according to specifications;

·         replaces the defective part with the corresponding spare part, verifying the correctness of the assembly with appropriate instruments.

·         keeps records of malfunctions by equipment type, installation position, frequency of occurrence, causes, and method and time of remediation to anticipate/prevent malfunctions and prepare an adequate maintenance schedule.

Requirements:

• Knowledge: solid technical knowledge, specific work procedures and their order of execution, types and functional parameters of equipment, machine tools, unit-specific devices, their technical documentation, work equipment: tools, devices, gauges.
• Skills: analysis and attention to detail, ability to detect defects, teamwork, dexterity, precision, rigor, perseverance, use of specialized terminology, possessing the physical abilities necessary to fulfill the duties of this job description.
• Other requirements: responsibility, balance and self-control, correctness, ability to work under stress, concern for professional development;
• Availability for shift work (3 shifts).

• works in a specialized workshop set up at the company's headquarters;

• tools for preparatory, manual or mechanical processing, maintenance and repair operations, twisting, printing, anti-corrosion coatings and protections, engraving and marking, etc.;
• devices for clamping and fixing tools and workpieces, for positioning, indexing, marking, adjusting;
• means for measuring/checking lengths, angles, surfaces, form and mutual position accuracy of surfaces, properties of the surface layer, for measuring functional parameters of machine tools (pressure, speed, temperature, flow rate).
