Roster and hours
You will work on an even time 4:4 roster rotating between days and nights. 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 days off.
- 12-hour shifts with a paid lunch and smoko
- Day shift: 6am - 6pm
- Night shift: 6pm - 6am
- Occasional overtime available on the end of your swing for those looking for more hours.
The role
As a highly skilled electrician, you'll be responsible for all electrical maintenance and repair at one of Australia's biggest logistic parks. All of your work will be completed at the well-equipped site.
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding, preventative maintenance and emergency repair work on a range of rail mounted automated stacker cranes
- Work on a range of Siemens the S7 PLC, CITECT, AC & DC drives and crane management software
- Working on variable speed drives, control logic on wiring diagrams, and off grid generator systems.
Your value
You will be a trade qualified electrician with a well-rounded knowledge of electrical fault finding and repairs on mobile plant and/or cranes.
- Electrical trade qualification (Cert III Electrotechnology)
- Hydraulic and mechanical knowledge (highly regarded)
- An excellent attitude towards work with proven ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment.
- Working knowledge and use of electrical schematics and symbols
- Must demonstrate working knowledge of Siemens the S7 PLC, CITECT, AC & DC drives
- Be able to pass a pre-employment medical and national police check
