Industrial-Manufacturing Electrician Level 1 McDavid, Florida (32 miles north of Pensacola) Benefits starting day 1 The position is located at the McDavid, FL, sawmill operation and reports directly to the Electrical Supervisor. What you will do: Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of the system Inspect electrical systems, equipment, or fixtures to identify and correct any defects or malfunctions, and to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, equipment, or fixtures, as needed. Conduct safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. What we are looking for: High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years of experience in electrical work, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with coworkers. Ability to follow safety procedures and protocols. Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
