Under the supervision of the maintenance director, the day electrician at vaudreuil-dorion will contribute directly to the proper functioning and optimization of our installations. Your days will be paced by troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, programming, and troubleshooting of automation systems and realization of improvement projects.

• Maintain equipment performance by troubleshooting and repairing production equipment.

• 75% automation: Troubleshoot, create programs, and program automation systems (Allen Bradley - Siemens).

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to the established schedule.

• Plan and execute improvement and modification projects for equipment.

• Install and commission new equipment.

• Update electrical plans and ensure compliance.

• Provide technical support to the maintenance and production team.

• Initiate requests for parts or materials needed for your interventions.

• A DEC in electrical engineering, an AEC in industrial automation, or equivalent training.
  
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  

• Mastery of PLC programming software (Allen-Bradley) and AutoCAD.

• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite.

• A marked interest in new technologies.

• Availability to work on weekends.

• Licence d'électricien (Licence C) in hand or in progress.
