Job description
Summary:
Electricians in the construction industry install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in buildings and other construction projects. They use technical drawings and blueprints to plan and layout electrical systems, troubleshoot problems, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain electrical systems
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints
- Inspect and test electrical systems
- Collaborate with other tradespersons
- Comply with safety regulations
- Ensure safe working conditions
- Troubleshoot electrical problems

- Document and maintain electrical records
Qualifications:
- Physical ability to work in tight spaces and at heights

- Experience in electrical installation, repair, and maintenance
- Certification or licensure as an electrician (depending on state requirements)
