Location: Sunshine, VIC - Onsite
Employment Type: Casual
Afternoon Shift - Flat rate between $65p/h - $75p/h DOE

With a strong focus on safety, reliability, and innovation, we operate a busy manufacturing facility in Sunshine and are seeking a skilled Casual Electrician to support our maintenance team on Afternoon Shift.
The Role
As a Casual Electrician, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our production facility. You will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and preventative work on a wide range of plant and equipment to minimise downtime and support continuous production.

The Role
As a Casual Electrician, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our production facility. You will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and preventative work on a wide range of plant and equipment to minimise downtime and support continuous production.
Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and repair work on production machinery and plant equipment.
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and electrical systems.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance to minimise equipment breakdowns
- Respond promptly to breakdowns to reduce production downtime.
- Ensure all work complies with Australian electrical standards, company policies, and OH&S requirements.
- Collaborate with the maintenance and production teams to improve reliability and efficiency.
Requirements
- Qualified A-Grade Electrician (VIC Electrical Licence).
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLC fault-finding, and motor control.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
- A strong focus on safety and compliance.
- Flexibility to work casual shifts as required, including potential weekend and after-hours availability.
