Qualified Electrician – Contract Role (3–6 Months)

Dannevirke | Immediate Start | $40–$42 per hour | 30–40 hours per week

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician for a 3–6 month contract, based in Dannevirke, with an immediate start available. This role will see you working alongside and supporting an apprentice, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

About the role:

• Based in Dannevirke
• 30–40 hours per week
• 3–6 month contract
• Immediate start
• Supporting and mentoring an apprentice on-site
• Carrying out electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs
• Ensuring all work complies with NZ electrical regulations and safety standards

About you:

• Qualified Electrician with a current NZ practicing licence
• Previous experience supervising or supporting apprentices (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of electrical standards and safe work practices
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Excellent communication skills and a team-focused attitude
