Electrical/Energy/Renewable Energy Solutions Engineer

Hire Resolve's client is seeking an Electrical/Energy/Renewable Energy Solutions Engineer to join their team in Johannesburg. This position involves identifying, implementing, and maintaining energy efficiency savings and on-site generation projects. The engineer ensures projects are executed cost-effectively, safely, and in compliance with regulations and specifications, aligned with the Service Level Agreement. Responsibilities: Identify, implement, and maintain energy efficiency savings and on-site generation projects. Conduct energy audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement energy management strategies. Design and oversee the installation of renewable energy systems (solar, wind, etc.). Manage project budgets and timelines. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and procurement. Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams. Prepare and present reports on project progress and energy performance. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field. Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) registration is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the energy or renewable energy sector. Strong understanding of energy efficiency principles and technologies. Experience with energy auditing and assessment tools. Knowledge of renewable energy system design and installation. Project management skills, including budget and timeline management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, energy modeling software).
