Electrical Engineer/Technician – O&M of PV Plants

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer/Technician – O&M of PV Plants near Arad city, Romania. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining electrical installations of the PV plant in order for the plant to operate efficiently and safely, maximizing energy production and minimizing downtime.

Your profile:

• Electrical technician diploma or relevant technical qualification in Electrical Engineering;
• Having a valid IIIB ANRE certification will be considered a strong plus;
• Good command of written and spoken English;
• Strong understanding of solar PV technology, electrical systems, and mechanical components;
• Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical problems effectively;
• Thorough knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for working with electrical equipment;
• Ability to effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and clients;
• Proficiency in using computer software for monitoring, reporting, and communication;
• Ability to analyse complex situations, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.

Main responsibilities:

• Conducting regular visual and instrumental inspections of solar panels, inverters, transformers, and other electrical components to identify potential issues;

• Diagnosing and repairing faults in the PV system, including electrical and mechanical issues, using specialized tools and equipment;

• Using monitoring software and tools to track system performance, identify abnormalities, and ensure optimal energy output;

• Performing scheduled maintenance tasks, such as inspecting connections, and replacing worn parts, to prevent future problems;

• Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and procedures, maintaining a safe working environment for themselves and others;

Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance data.
