Position Overview:

  • We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical Engineer to support the development of electronic architecture and mixed-signal PCB design for advanced robotic systems. This role is ideal for candidates with deep expertise in hardware design, system configuration management, and regulatory compliance-especially in complex, multi-disciplinary engineering environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop electronic architecture from system-level requirements down to the PCBA level.
  • Design mixed-signal, high-reliability electronics including schematic entry, PCB layout, board bring-up, and verification.
  • Lead design of PCBA containing microprocessors and motor control drivers.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges.
  • Perform system-level hardware testing and contribute to product improvement through feedback.
  • Manage hardware system configurations and oversee all HW-related changes across instrument fleets.
  • Maintain and update EE components in SAP/PLM systems.
  • Prepare engineering documentation, test protocols, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Plan and lead EE design reviews, ensuring accountability and technical excellence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, with 10+ years of industry experience.
  • Proficient in OrCAD, Altium Designer, and other CAD tools.
  • Strong hands-on experience with microcontroller devices and motor control systems.
  • Skilled with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and power supplies.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot EMI/EMC/ESD issues.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; a collaborative team player.
  • Familiarity with life science safety standards (e.g. IEC61010) and risk management frameworks.
