As an electrical engineer, you will be responsible for the design, coordination, and realization of the electrical infrastructure within sustainable energy projects. You will work on wind farms, solar farms, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and system integration projects, ensuring that electrical solutions are technically feasible, reliable, and future-proof.

Specifically, this means you will:

• prepare the basic design of the electrical infrastructure and develop technical specifications for tenders;
• be responsible for the planning, execution, and coordination of all electrical works within projects;
• provide technical guidance to suppliers and contractors, and prepare and review contracts;
• monitor the technical interfaces between different contracts and ensure optimal integration of all electrical disciplines;
• advise clients on technical choices and provide thorough substantiation.

You will work on projects for diverse clients both domestically and internationally. You will do this together with colleagues from the Contracting & Construction team, project managers, and other technical specialists. Together, you will realize sustainable energy projects that contribute to a future-proof energy system.

In addition, we offer:

• a salary between € 4,200 and € 5,600 gross per month based on 40 hours, depending on knowledge and experience;
• a position for 32 to 40 hours per week;

For this role, ownership, analytical skills, and a collaborative mindset are important. This is important because you need to translate complex technical issues into practical solutions, switch frequently between technology, planning, and stakeholders, and be responsible for oversight throughout the entire project.

Furthermore, we require:

• a completed HBO or WO (University of Applied Sciences or University) degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a comparable technical field;
• at least five years of relevant work experience within electrical infrastructure projects, preferably in the sustainable energy sector;
• experience with medium-voltage and high-voltage installations, electrical installation drawings, and grid compliance processes;
• an excellent command of the Dutch and English languages.
