Electrical Engineer SLD (Single-Line Diagram)

Qualifications & Requirements:
- BEng/MEng in Electrical Engineering.
- 2–5+ years of experience in electrical design engineering (preferably LV/MV systems).
- Experience with solar PV, commercial inverters, microgrids, and grid code compliance in both LV and MV situations.
- Proficiency in simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink)
- CAD software for schematic design
- Understand protection equipment
- Reticulation design and familiarity with power semiconductor devices (IGBTs, MOSFETs).
- Design & Development:Â Conceptualize and design power electronics circuits, including inverter topologies, magnetic components, SLD’s for products.
- Testing & Validation:Â Write and perform hands-on testing of prototypes. Understanding of inverter safety standards is a plus.
- Production Support:Â Optimize manufacturing processes following quality standards (e.g., ISO9001).
- Component Evaluation:Â Evaluate and select components for efficiency, cost-saving, and obsolescence management.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain schematics, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and technical reports.Â
