Electrical Engineer (Building Services) – Consulting Industry

Our client, a dynamic and well-established consulting engineering firm in Cape Town North is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to contribute to prestigious commercial, residential, and industrial projects across the Western Cape

Requirements:

• BSc / BEng / BTech in Electrical Engineering.
• 5 - 8 years’ experience in building services electrical design.
• Proven track record in delivering commercial and/or residential building projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (advantageous), and electrical design software.
• Sound knowledge of SANS standards and local regulations.
• ECSA registration or eligible for registration (Candidate or Professional Engineer/Technologist).
• Design and specification of electrical systems for buildings (lighting, power, reticulation, backup, etc.).
• Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and layout planning using design software.
• Preferably based in Cape Town
