Electrical Commissioning Engineer (m/w/d)

Type of contract: Freelance

Tasks:

• Knowledge in the pre-commissioning and commissioning of electrical energy supply systems (medium voltage / low voltage)
• Verification and collection of relevant documents, certificates, as-built documentation, project and customer procedures, and TÜV requirements for devices and systems of electrical energy supply, extremely low-voltage-based systems including security infrastructure for personnel protection in tools like DMCS, EIDA, and ACC
• Verification of devices and installations, as well as the prerequisites for locations according to local and project-specific requirements for preparation of commissioning activities
• Preparation of documents and conduct of site walks/walkdowns to achieve TÜV pre-commissioning
• Conduct of Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) including TÜV acceptance
• Management of suppliers and contractors for one of the systems in your own work area, including request for missing documents
• Support of the commissioning team at meetings with customers, suppliers, contractors, and other engineering teams regarding the responsible systems
• Knowledge of the latest technical regulations, guidelines, and verification of compliance with project (customer) specifications as well as local norms and standards in Germany and the respective region

Qualifications:

• Verification of electrical energy supply systems (medium- and low-voltage systems, compensation, MCC, distribution panels, UPS, diesel generators, lighting systems, electric power rails, etc.) after installation
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in the field of Electrical Engineering
• More than 10 years of professional experience in building and commissioning electrical systems
• Teamwork ability, self-initiative, and engagement as well as a high level of flexibility
• Good English and German language skills in writing and speaking for collaboration with international customers, international engineering partners, and contractors
• Willingness to work full-time on the construction site in Germany
