Company & Location:
Australian company, located in West Gosford, that designs and builds its own low-voltage electrical equipment used in a number of industrial engineering industries (large manufacturing plants, data centers, commercial building projects).
This is a hands-on, client & supplier electrical sales and applications engineering role, requiring a strong commercial edge. You will have experience or be interested in combining real electrical engineering / electrical trades work, with consultive sales, helping customers solve operational problems with properly engineered solutions.

This is a hands-on, client & supplier electrical sales and applications engineering role, requiring a strong commercial edge. You will have experience or be interested in combining real electrical engineering / electrical trades work, with consultive sales, helping customers solve operational problems with properly engineered solutions.
You & Daily Tasks:
- Sales, applications, estimating, business development - identify new business opportunities.
- Generate accurate estimates of time and cost to build component parts and assemblies.
- Liaise with senior decision makers to understand project pain points.
- Translate customer requirements into engineered solutions, technical proposals, tenders, tender responses, pricing and bid submissions.
- Review customer RFQs, electrical schematic and single-line diagrams and drawings for fit with company.
- Occasional testing & commissioning and electrical fitting of low-voltage equipment, before products go live on site.
- Fault-finding + troubleshooting.
- Strong ability to problem-solve, troubleshoot.
- Good customer communication skills, client-facing.
- Full-time, 7 am to 3:30 pm, then extensive overtime.
- Overtime available Saturdays at Double Time.
- All PPE equipment is provided.
- Degree or trade background, solid understanding of low-voltage switchgear, confident engaging with customers and clients.
