Job Description – OSP Permitting Specialist Position: OSP (Outside Plant) Permitting Specialist Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST Modality: Preferiblemente on-site al inicio Department: Fiber Construction & Engineering About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented OSP Permitting Specialist to support our fiber construction and engineering operations. This role is the critical link between field data collection and official permitting requirements for cities, counties, DOT agencies, and private companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all necessary permits are obtained in a timely manner, while also maintaining accurate records of permit applications and approvals. Key responsibilities include: • Coordinating with internal stakeholders to gather required information for permit applications • Reviewing and submitting permit applications to local authorities • Tracking and monitoring the status of permit applications • Maintaining accurate records of permit applications and approvals • Collaborating with other departments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures • Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field • 2+ years of experience in OSP permitting, preferably in the telecommunications industry • Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations governing OSP construction and permitting • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
