Expert in Retail Insurance Pricing

Location: Sopot

Your tasks:

• designing modern analytical solutions using cloud tools (Microsoft Azure, Databricks), Python, SQL, PySpark, PowerBI,

• programming algorithms that process large datasets,

• analyzing data of diverse and distributed structures to discover new factors, trends, and business opportunities,

• creating tools for training and evaluating models,

• building, implementing, and developing pricing models to support the valuation of insurance products for retail customers,

• using statistical algorithms to simulate and optimize pricing strategies,

• testing ideas and new solutions through A/B tests,

• monitoring achieved results against adopted business assumptions and adapting developed solutions to changing market conditions,

• presenting work results to individuals responsible for key business segments,

• experimenting with new modeling methods and analytical techniques – your idea could be a game changer.

Our expectations:

• experience in insurance pricing or actuarial science in property insurance,

• very good knowledge of Python (pandas, scikit-learn, optionally PyTorch/TensorFlow/Keras) for data work and predictive model creation, supported by practical experience,

• good knowledge of SQL and the ability to work independently with databases,

• understanding of statistical, econometric concepts, and machine learning models (e.g., glm, tree-based models, boosting, deep learning),

• ability to develop code within a team using version control with Git,

• resourcefulness in problem-solving and creativity in proposing your own solutions,

• willingness to continuously search for dependencies in data and test unconventional hypotheses, as well as a constant drive to improve results,

• ability to translate analysis results into business recommendations,

• higher education (majors such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Econometrics, Data Analysis, Data Engineering, Big Data, or related fields are welcome),

• possession of a disability certificate – because we support people who face greater challenges in the labor market.
