This role enables the delivery of our business protection and continuity strategy whilst ensuring legal, external and internal stakeholder compliance by providing EH&S work advice, coaching and training to employees across all levels of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting audits and inspections to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. This role also involves advising on and implementing effective risk management strategies to minimize potential hazards and risks. Additionally, the EHS Officer/ Advisor will provide support to the EH&S team in developing and maintaining a comprehensive Environmental Management System (EMS) that meets international standards. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of environmental, health and safety regulations and standards, as well as experience in auditing and compliance. A degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Science, Health and Safety, or a related discipline is required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with employees at all levels of the organization, as well as external stakeholders. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is also important.
