EHS Manager (m/w/d)

Location: flexibly within several production sites in Austria

An international production company is looking for an experienced professional to strategically and operationally manage environmental, health, and safety measures. The position is site-spanning and offers scope for design in a dynamic environment.

• Development and implementation of concepts to comply with legal requirements in the EHS area
• Counseling and training of executives and employees to promote safety-conscious behavior
• Introduction and continuous improvement of EHS standards and processes
• Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including authorities and inspection bodies
• Conducting audits, risk analyses, and measures for hazard prevention
• Coordination of safety activities in interdisciplinary teams

• Degree or equivalent qualification in environmental technology, safety management, or related fields
• Mult-year professional experience in the EHS area, ideally in an industrial environment
• Knowledge of relevant standards and certifications (e.g. ISO 14001, EMAS, Sifa, NEBOSH)
• Experience in conceiving and conducting training as well as handling EHS key figures
• Analytical thinking, communication skills, and solution-oriented working style
• Travel readiness within Austria and interest in professional development
• Very good German language skills and good English language skills
