Job description

Assure the leadership of the sustainable development, health and safety, and environmental (SSE) program of the Montreal services center. This position is responsible for supporting the objective of facility management aiming to provide a safe and secure environment for our employees, entrepreneurs, visitors, and the surrounding community, in cooperation with the objectives, targets, and goals of the operations and SSE of the installation and company. Ensure the respect of all the regulations, standards, and best practices related to occupational health and safety, environmental protection, and sustainable development. Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures to promote a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility within the organization. Collaborate with stakeholders, including employees, management, and external partners, to identify and mitigate risks, and to develop and implement corrective actions. Provide training and guidance to employees on occupational health and safety, environmental protection, and sustainable development. Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and best practices. Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and other stakeholders to stay informed about changes in regulations, standards, and best practices. Provide expertise and support to employees, management, and external partners on occupational health and safety, environmental protection, and sustainable development. Develop and maintain records and reports related to occupational health and safety, environmental protection, and sustainable development. Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive information and data. Perform other related duties as required. This position requires a strong understanding of occupational health and safety, environmental protection, and sustainable development principles, as well as excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. The candidate must be fluent in French and English, and have a strong understanding of the Montreal services center's operations and SSE program. The candidate must also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent organizational and time management skills.
