Job Description





Your range of tasks includes:



As a senior front end developer, you are primarily responsible for developing new front end applications, supporting the software development life cycle and contributing to the improvement and evolutionary maintenance of existing front end applications.

As a senior, you are also a point of contact for the younger colleagues.

You are results-oriented, not only for yourself but also for the team. You have an excellent knowledge of the life cycle and phases of a software development project, the different roles and tooling, specifically for the development of front end applications.

You develop front end applications based on business and functional analyzes in collaboration with the Business/Functional analysts.

You perform the technical analysis, document it and present it before you start an implementation.

You support testing and quality initiatives so that we can put quality software into production

You provide technical documentation as a standard part of your work

You have experience in the technical professionalization of development environments

You contribute to the maintenance of front end applications to improve them or adapt them to changes in software or infrastructure standards.

You address application-related incidents and find the most suitable solutions for them

You closely follow technological developments and provide technical advice in your specific areas of expertise

You like to implement best practices

You are eager to learn and have a strong desire to stay informed of industry trends and technological developments.

You take technical responsibility in all stages and iterations of front end software development.

You measure and monitor the application of the agreed standards for front end software development, including the security standards.

You contribute to the development of the policy, standards and guidelines for front end software development.




You don't mind finding your way in the existing customs of a working system.







Profile Description



You are a holder of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent through experience

You have at least 10 years of experience in the development of front end applications with Angular, and the associated ecosystem

You have an in-depth knowledge of front end software development with the Angular Web Application Development framework

You have experience in the application of design patterns, best practices, ...

You have a good knowledge of web client technologies: HTML, CSS, TypeScript, Ajax, ...

You have a good knowledge of WebServices technologies: MicroServices, REST, JSON, ...

You have a good knowledge of : GIT, GitLab CI/CD, Maven, Gradle, IntelliJ, Docker, Jira, ...

You have a good knowledge of data processing: SQL, NoSQL, Graph, Elastic (ELK), ... including data management tools

You have knowledge of VMware, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat OpenShift, ...

You have experience with at least one of the Agile project management methods (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, ...).

You are someone who inspires your colleagues

You actively transfer your knowledge to your colleagues and ensure that it is applied

You are an excellent communicator

You are a strong individual AND a team player

You are a maintainer of agreed principles and pragmatic when necessary

You have Belgian nationality

You speak French or Dutch as your main language with at least a basic knowledge of the other language and English.

You have a security clearance of the level "Very Secret" or you agree to obtain one (= agreement with security investigation).
