Job Description

Intress needs to incorporate a Social Educator to cover replacements at the CRAE Petit Princep located in Santa Coloma de Gramenet.

CRAEs are institutions for the guardianship and education of children and adolescents (from 0 to 18 years old) to whom the measure of simple institutional foster care is applied, in accordance with the measure stated in the prior report from the competent technical teams. Its objective is to respond to educational and care situations and needs that require technical specialization in their alternative guardianship and education away from their original family.

• Start Date: July 18th
• End Date: October 18th
• Annual Gross Salary: €1,270.66 + 25% bonus for hours worked on weekends
• Weekly Hours: 26 hours
• Schedule: Saturdays from 8 am to 9 pm and Sundays from 9 am to 10 pm

Requirements

Minimum Required Education:

• University Degree or qualification in Social Education
• CFGS (Higher Level Vocational Training) in Social Integration

Minimum Professional Experience:

• 1 year of experience working in a similar role with children.
• Experience with adolescents.

Required Knowledge:

• Intervention models in childhood and family
• Knowledge of educational functions in a CRAE
• Social resources for the population sector served
• Knowledge of the changes and characteristics of adolescence
• Group dynamics and organization
• Communication techniques
• IT user level
