Role and Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced EDP Executive to join our team in Vasanth Nagar, Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for providing first-level troubleshooting, problem isolation, and resolution for desktop and laptop hardware. You will also be involved in installing, upgrading, and configuring desktop and laptop operating systems, as well as client software. Additionally, you will provide basic network support and facilitate the backup of critical business data. Vendor coordination and inventory management will also be part of your responsibilities. Assembling new systems, hardware troubleshooting, and software/application installation will be additional tasks you will handle.
Candidate Qualifications:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role- Strong knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware troubleshooting- Proficiency in installing and configuring desktop and laptop operating systems- Familiarity with client software installation and troubleshooting- Basic networking knowledge, including enabling/disabling ports and access points- Good vendor coordination skills- Experience in IT asset and inventory management
