Job description

Position: Early Childhood Teacher | Educational Leader
Location: Byron Bay
Type: Full-Time
Offering: $45-$55 per hour + super

Responsibilities: Educational Leader guiding and supporting the team. This is not a Room Leader role as you will only have Ed Leader responsibilities assisting, mentoring and guiding Educators across all rooms.

Planning and implementing age-appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
Creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages children to explore and discover.
Monitoring and recording each child's progress, development, and milestones, communicating regularly with parents or guardians.
Collaborating with a team of educators to design engaging activities, ensuring children's individual needs and interests are met.
Promoting health and safety practices within the preschool environment.
Building strong partnerships with families and fostering a sense of community within the preschool.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

A Completed Bachelor's degree in Childcare (ECT 0 - 5 years)
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their growth and development.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Knowledge and understanding of the EYLF and NQS.
