Owned and operated by licenced Darwin electricians, we always take great pride in our work and understand Darwin homeowners. All positions are full-time and located in the Northern Territory

Labourer / Electrical Trade Assistant

Salary: $67,000 - $80,000

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified electricians and solar technicians with the installation, repair and maintenance of electrical and solar energy systems.
• Assist with stock control, inventory management, and handling of equipment
• Perform general site preparation tasks, including cable pulling, digging trenches, fitting off, positioning mounting systems and assisting with roof or ground setup for electrical or solar panel installations.
• Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for tasks in coordination with electricians
• Safely load, unload and transport electrical materials, solar panels, tools and equipment to designated areas on job sites.
• Assist with setting up and packing down site equipment, including ladders, safety barriers, and fall protection systems, in accordance with safety procedures.
• Support installation tasks by holding, positioning and securing components such as solar panels, mounting frames, wiring and conduits under supervision.
• Assist with basic electrical and construction-related tasks, including cable routing, equipment placement, and removal of old or faulty systems as directed by qualified tradespersons.
• Maintain clean, organised and hazard-free work areas, following all safety instructions and adhering to workplace health and safety standards, including electrical safety requirements.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Experience working on electrical, energy, or maintenance sites (preferred but not essential).
• Strong work ethic, with a willingness to learn and develop skills in the electrical field
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely alongside qualified tradespeople.
• Basic understanding of electrical or solar installing tools, equipment and materials.
• Physical endurance and stamina and the ability to perform manual labour in outdoor environments.
• Strong work ethic, reliability and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a team and maintain safe work practices at all times.
• A valid driver’s licence – preferred.
• Safety-conscious with an excellent attention to detail
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to WHS procedures

Essential Qualifications & Licenses:

Salesperson

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Planning for and carrying out lead generation activities
• Identify, qualify and develop new sales opportunities, achieving revenue, profitability and market-share targets
• Working with existing customers to identify and convert sales opportunities
• Develop long-term relationships with customers and channel partners, gaining a deep understanding of their needs and ensuring a positive experience throughout the sales process.
• Preparing quotations for customers
• Recording sales-based activities
• Preparing and presenting ROI proposals

Skills and Experience Required:

• Experience in (or ability to work in) a customer focused, successful retail business
• Proven technical sales experience in power systems, electrical infrastructure or industrial solutions, with a strong record of achieving sales and margin targets.
• A high level of electrical and energy product knowledge to support customer queries
• Ability to service your customers while managing work tasks around their needs
• Going above and beyond to provide exceptional customer focused problem solving
• Experience of resolving customer complaints and making quick decisions to ensure happy customers and timely accurate services
• Passion to exceed individual and store sales targets
• Drivers license and vehicle
• High level of communication and interpersonal skills
• A professional manner with strong relationship building skills

Solar installer

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install solar panel systems and battery storage
• Work on residential and off-grid solar projects
• Perform end-to-end solar PV and battery storage installation and commissioning across residential and commercial sites, ensuring correct cable pulling, termination, earthing, testing.
• Transport tools, equipment, and materials to installation sites as required.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure quality workmanship and timely delivery of renewable energy solutions.
• Interpret electrical drawings accurately to execute installations effectively.
• Maintain compliance with all electrical and safety standards

Skills and Experience Required:

• Previous solar installation experience
• Qualified electrician or experienced solar installer
• CEC or SAA solar accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
• Electrical licence (for electrician applicants)
• Experience with battery systems
• Ability to work safely at heights
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
• Commitment to workplace health and safety practices
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to participate in ongoing learning and development
• Experience with residential and commercial solar installs
