Job description
The Ideal Candidate
1. Technical Coordinator (1 position)
Role
Coordination of the project's research and development activity: platform architecture, technical planning for development stages (requirements analysis → design → development → testing → implementation), supervision of the technical team, correlation of deliverables with project milestones, and technical interface with the auditor and partners.
2. Technical Expert — robotics / machine learning (2 positions)
Role
Development of platform components: robotics skills library (perception, manipulation, navigation), integration with the reasoning engine, training and testing pipelines (simulation + real hardware — robotic arms, mobile platforms, perception systems), validation in representative environments.

Mandatory Requirements (eligibility criteria)
- Qualification in the field: higher technical education in robotics, artificial intelligence, software engineering and/or adjacent higher education in engineering, computer science, or other related technical specializations;
- Experience: over 5 years of experience in the project field (software for robotics / AI systems / autonomous systems) OR at least 2 successfully implemented projects in this field, demonstrable through CV and references.
- Certifications are mandatorily verified on the official issuer platforms (e.g., Credly) — please include the certificate ID or public verification URL in your CV.
- Practical experience with at least part of the ROS/ROS2 stack, physics simulation (MuJoCo, Isaac Sim, Gazebo)
- Experience with systems based on language models/VLA or ML applied in robotics (training, evaluation, deployment);
- Technical leadership experience of a development team (architecture, code review, planning).
2. Technical Expert — robotics / machine learning (2 positions)
Mandatory Requirements
- Qualification in the field: relevant higher technical education (engineering, mathematics, computer science, or related technical specializations) and/or higher education accompanied by recognized technical certifications (same categories as above).
- Experience: minimum 2 years of experience in software development for robotics, AI/ML systems, embedded/autonomous systems, demonstrable through CV.
- Certifications (if any) — with public verification ID/URL in CV.
Specific Technical Requirements (profile sought)
- Professional level Python and/or C++ programming; experience with ROS/ROS 2 or equivalent frameworks;
- At least one of: perception (computer vision, 3D sensors), motion planning (OMPL or equivalent), reinforcement learning (RL) for robotic control, hardware integration (robotic arms, mobile platforms);
- Considered an advantage: experience with physics simulators (MuJoCo, Isaac Sim/Lab), CUDA/GPU training, edge deployment (Jetson).

Location: Cluj-Napoca — the activity takes place at the project headquarters/laboratory, where the equipment and robots are located; partial remote work is possible, depending on the nature of the activity.
