Hire Resolve is currently partnering with a reputable Civil Engineering company who is seeking a skilled Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic for their mechanical workshop in Polokwane. As an Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning of heavy machinery used in construction, mining, and other industries. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of earthmoving equipment, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary repairs and maintenance. Responsibilities: * Conduct regular inspections of earthmoving equipment to identify potential problems. * Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues. * Perform repairs and maintenance on a wide range of earthmoving equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, graders, and loaders. * Replace worn or damaged parts, such as engines, transmissions, and hydraulic components. * Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues. * Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment. * Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed. * Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective repairs. Requirements: * Proven experience as an Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic. * Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. * Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues. * Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. * Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. * Excellent problem-solving skills. * Strong attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Valid driver's license.
