Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant
Job description
Support pupils with SEND in accessing learning and achieving their individual targets.
Support pupils across Nursery & Reception
Assist with the implementation of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Provide personal care, including toileting and hygiene support, in a respectful and dignified manner.
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create an inclusive learning environment.
Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.

Essential Requirements
- Level 3 Childcare Qualification (or equivalent is essential)
- Experience working with children with SEND in an educational setting.
- Expereience of working within EYFS.
- Ability to carry out personal care duties.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient approach.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Personal care is required for this role.
Desirable
- Knowledge of strategies for supporting pupils with autism, speech and language needs, or physical disabilities.
- Team player with flexibility and a proactive attitude.
