Role Overview We are working with a number of nurseries and early years settings in the Stafford area, who are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join their team. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for working with children aged 0-5 years, supporting their learning and development, and contributing to the overall ethos and values of the setting. Key Responsibilities: • To work as part of a team to provide high-quality childcare and education to children aged 0-5 years. • To support the development and implementation of the setting’s curriculum and policies. • To contribute to the overall ethos and values of the setting, and to promote a positive and inclusive environment. • To work with children, parents, and colleagues to identify and meet individual needs and interests. • To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children’s progress and development. • To participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with best practice and to share knowledge and expertise with colleagues. Requirements: • A relevant qualification in Early Years Education and Care (EYECA) or equivalent. • Experience working with children aged 0-5 years in an early years setting. • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the overall ethos and values of the setting. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children’s progress and development. • Willingness to participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
