Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 plus Superannuation

We are a 70-place family-owned and operated Long Day Care Centre located in Central West NSW. Key Responsibilities:
As a full-time Early Childhood Educator, your duties will include:
- Plan, prepare and deliver age-appropriate play-based learning programs (indoor and outdoor) in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS).
- Prepare and conduct engaging, play-based learning experiences (indoor/outdoor), including storytelling, reading and games that promote language, cognitive and creative development.
- Manage children’s behaviour with positive guidance and support inclusive social and emotional development.
- Actively supervise children at all times across daily routines, mealtimes, rest, toileting, transitions and recreational activities.
- Promote hygiene and wellbeing, embed healthy habits and infection control, and maintain a clean and well-organised learning environment.
- Observe, assess and document each child’s learning and development to inform programming and share updates with families.
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues and communicate clearly.
- Uphold child safety by implementing Child Safe Standards, service policies and procedures and work health and safety requirements and respond appropriately to incidents and first aid needs.
- Respect and protect privacy and confidentiality in all interactions, records and communications.
- Work collaboratively within the team and contribute to continuous improvement and reflective practice while engaging in ongoing professional learning.
- Undertake additional duties as directed by the Director to support smooth, high-quality service operations.
Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an equivalent ACECQA-approved qualification).
- A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Current approved First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management certificates [or willingness to obtain same within three months of commencement].
- A strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS.
- Experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of qualifications.
