e-Commerce Operations Manager

What this position is about

We are looking for an e-Commerce Operations Manager to manage and continuously improve Ploom’s end-to-end B2C e-Commerce operations in Romania. You will be responsible for the execution and optimization of e-Commerce activities, ensuring seamless consumer experience and efficient day-to-day operations. Working closely with local and global teams, agencies and external partners you will monitor performance, coordinate operational initiatives and identify opportunities to improve channel effectiveness and business results.

What will you do?

• Contribute to local e-Commerce strategy and leading the implementation of the local e-Commerce roadmap while managing channel’s performance
• Coordinate day-to-day B2C e-Commerce operations and ensure smooth execution of campaigns, promotions and product launches
• Optimize the online consumer journey through testing,  data analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
• Track key performance indicators, prepare reports and turn findings into actionable recommendations
• Manage budgets and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and cost effectiveness
• Manage relationships with agencies, suppliers and logistics partners, ensuring timely delivery and operational excellence
• Lead cross-functional projects  and support the execution of new e-Commerce capabilities and enhancements
• Monitor market and competitor activities and share relevant insights with stakeholders

Who are we looking for?

• University degree
• 3-5 years of experience in a commercial, digital, consumer engagement or project management role
• Experience in managing initiatives that involve multiple stakeholders, processes and consumer touchpoints
• Understanding of sales channels and consumer journeys; exposure to online sales, e-commerce or omnichannel environments would be a strong advantage
• Data-driven mindset and ability to use performance insights to support business decisions
• Experience with reporting and analytical tools (Power BI, Google Analytics or similar) is considered an advantage
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent English
