Job description
We're on the hunt for a sharp, confident Duty Manager to take charge of service at a busy central-city venue known for high-end events, private functions, and top-quality à la carte dining.
This is a hands-on, people-first role - perfect for someone who thrives in the heart of the action and loves creating great guest experiences while keeping the wheels turning behind the scenes

What you'll be doing:
- Leading the front-of-house team during service or events
- Running smooth, efficient shifts with a smile
- Handling customer feedback like a pro - solving issues before they become problems
- Coordinating with event and kitchen teams to deliver memorable experiences
- Supporting new staff with training and onboarding
- Taking care of daily open/close duties, including cash-ups
- Ensuring the business is always operating within the Sale & Supply of Liquor Act
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience as a Duty Manager or senior FOH supervisor
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Calm under pressure, quick on your feet, and solution-focused
- Flexible with working evenings, weekends & event-based rosters
- A current Duty Manager's Certificate (essential)
- Someone who takes pride in service and isn't afraid to get stuck in
