Dual Study Business Informatics - Data Engineering (m/f/d)

With us, you will combine your studies at FOM University of Applied Sciences with practical experience in Data Engineering. You will work with modern data and cloud technologies, participate in real customer projects, and learn how powerful data and software solutions are created.

Responsibilities

• You will start with Python, SQL, and Databricks in Data Engineering.
• You will learn how to handle large amounts of data, data pipelines, and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• You will gain insights into software development and learn to build applications in a structured way and write maintainable code.
• You will actively participate in customer projects and gradually take on responsibility.
• In parallel with practical work, you will study at FOM University of Applied Sciences with a focus on computer science, business, and modern technologies.
• Additionally, you can complete an IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) training as an IT specialist for application development.

Qualifications

• You meet the academic requirements for a dual study program, ideally with good performance in mathematics, computer science, or natural sciences.
• You are interested in IT, data, and modern software and data solutions.
• You enjoy working with others, sharing your knowledge, and supporting the team with joint tasks.
• You can express yourself well in writing and orally and contribute your own questions, ideas, and feedback.
• You want to learn new things, develop yourself further, and help shape technological changes.
• You work in a structured manner, keep your commitments, and take responsibility for your tasks.
